(DE) Ein internationales Konsortium unter der Leitung des Dänischen Kulturinstituts hat das Projekt „Creative Circular Cities“ (CCC) ins Leben gerufen. Im Rahmen des Projekts werden sechs Städte im Ostseeraum – Aarhus (DK), Kiel (DE), Gdynia (PL), Riga (LV), Tallinn (EE) und Turku (FI) – gemeinsam Lösungen entwickeln, testen und fördern, die von der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft vorangetrieben werden, um den Übergang von einer linearen zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft zu unterstützen. Das Projekt lauf von Nov 2023 bis Oktober 2026.
Die Projektergebnisse umfassen ein „CCC Starter Kit“ für die kreativen Industrie und Sektor und eine „CCC Roadmap“ für den politischen Dialog.
(EN) An international consortium led by the Danish Cultural Institute has launched the „Creative Circular Cities“ (CCC) project. As part of the project, six cities in the Baltic Sea Region – Aarhus (DK), Kiel (DE), Gdynia (PL), Riga (LV), Tallinn (EE) and Turku (FI) – will jointly develop, test and promote solutions driven by the cultural and creative industries to support the transition from a linear to a circular economy. The project runs from Nov 2023 to Oct 2026.
Project deliverables include a CCC Starter Kit for the creative industry and sector and a CCC Roadmap for political dialog.

Creative Circular City Kiel
(DE) In Kiel setzen die drei Projektpartner Anschar Campus GmbH, Zero Waste Kiel e.V. und Böll Stiftung zusammen mit dem assoziierten Partner Landeshauptstadt Kiel eine Steering Group ein, um eine gemeinsame Strategie auf lokaler Ebene zu entwickeln. Ein Raum wird geschaffen, um Unternehmen und kulturelle und kreative Sektoren zu vernetzen, die sich für die Kreislaufwirtschaft engagieren. Darüber hinaus wird noch in 2024 ein dreitägiges „Citizen Engagement Lab“ organisiert, an dem die Projektpartner der sechs Städte der Ostseeregion teilnehmen werden.
(EN) In Kiel, the three project partners Anschar Campus GmbH, Zero Waste Kiel e.V. and Böll Foundation, together with the associated partner City of Kiel, are setting up a steering group to develop a joint strategy at local level. A space will be created to network cultural creative industries and sectors that are committed to the circular economy. A three-day „Citizen Engagement Lab“ will be organized in 2024, in which the project partners of the six cities in the Baltic Sea region will participate.
Zero Waste Kiel e.V. & CCC
(DE) Die Aufgabe von Zero Waste Kiel e.V. besteht darin, zur Entwicklung von Aktionsplänen für eine lokale Kreislaufwirtschaft mit Schwerpunkt auf der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft beizutragen. Wir werden unsere Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Zero Waste Konzepten und unser Wissen über Zero Waste und Kreislaufwirtschaftsstrategien zur Verfügung stellen. Zero Waste Europe und Zero Waste Germany sind assoziierte Partner und unterstützen uns bei diesem Projekt.
(EN) The mission of Zero Waste Kiel e.V. is to contribute to the development of action plans for a local circular economy with a focus on the cultural and creative industries. We will provide our experience in developing zero waste concepts and our knowledge about zero waste and circular economy strategies. Zero Waste Europe and Zero Waste Germany are associated partners and support us in this project.
